On the edge of the Empty Quarter, a nice getaway and a perfect Arabian experience would be the retreat staycation at Tilal Liwa, Abu Dhabi. Starting with a long drive to the resort and just when we’re about to reach, the property shines out like an oasis in the middle of the desert.
From unwinding in the relaxing spa or a sunny dip in the pool, the day just gets more serene and romantic by the added horizon of the infinity pool into the dunes. Activities like a trip into the desert on a camel or a quad bike just adds to the adrenaline rushes. By the end of the day, we enjoyed one of the resort’s four dining options of international restaurants, Al Badiya and relaxed in peaceful surroundings.
